At MAYA , we believe that fashion should not come at the expense of animals or the environment.

Our vegan leather is made from a patented blend of non-animal materials. We rely on innovative and sustainable resources such as cotton fibers and recycled polyester. The scientific names for the materials used in our vegan leather are PU (polyurethane) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

These materials are more environmentally friendly because they do not require animal husbandry.

Another advantage of vegan leather is that it requires less maintenance than real leather and does not tear or fade as easily.

In addition, our vegan leather is 100% waterproof and, unlike real leather, does not mold.

Most importantly, no animals are harmed in the production of our vegan leather.

We work with a talented team of designers from Cologne to design and develop patterns using our signature vegan leather.

Our bags are then produced in small partner factories in Hong Kong with whom we have built a close relationship over the years.

We also use these vegan leather bags in everyday life to continuously improve the design and quality of our products.
